THE NATURAL PARK OF MIGLIARINO, St. ROSSORE E MASSACIUCCOLI

The bittern has found its habitat in the Regional Park of Migliarino, St Rossore and Massaciuccoli situated on the northern coast of Tuscany, between the counties of Pisa and Lucca where DAK S.r.l. has got its headquarter..
The Park extends over an area of about a hundred square miles including different kinds of landscapes: beaches, thick woods and the bogs which are the natural area where the Tarabuso lives, hence its nickname "bull of the bog".

The Park also includes the St. Rossore estate, the summer dwelling place of the Italian kings first and of the President today. Visiting the various landscapes is possible either walking or on horseback, following one of the seven different itineraries, which partly include special facilities for handicapped.

DAK S.r.l.. and the Park Bureau wish to carry on their common projects with the aim of preserving the landscape of the Park, with a special care for the Tarabuso.
